Sandy Klemmer

Like many yogis, an injury (shoulder) led Sandy to time on the mat, but it was the unexpected experiential shifts that made her fall in love with yoga - learning how to stay in dialogue with each moment, not through words, but via sensations & awareness. Sandy completed a 200-hour RYT certification under PranaVayu founder, David Magone. PranaVayu is a unique style of vinyasa yoga that makes mind and body transformations more efficient through strategic sequencing, principles of skeletal alignment, and guided meditation. In addition to David Magone, she is particularly inspired by yogis Ame Wren, Dan Steel, Goldie Graham, and Caitlyn Visconte. Sandy finished an advanced teacher training with Ame Wren (founder of The Boston Yoga School), and is humbled to have learned from Raghunath in India on Yoga pilgrimage in 2017 & 2018. Her personal study of traditional Yogic & Buddhist philosophy and practices is always ongoing. Classes are physically challenging yet within reach for wide range of abilities, and offer an opportunity to metabolize your day, the invitation to play, and space for reflection. Expect an experience infused with relatable and useful Yoga teachings, with alignment cues and creative sequences that will shift your focus inward. She believes that authenticity & awakening are cultivated through inquiry  -- flowing with the breath on the mat is an amazing place to start.
