200 Hour Teacher Training Intensive

This intensive program will give you a space to ask every question about every posture, introduce you to the philosophy and history of yoga and, and help you grow a teaching practice. Join Tim Kelleher & Renée LeBlanc for their Summer Intensive Teacher Training program to grow, learn, and feel more connected to yourself and your community

You will learn

  • Alignment of Yoga Poses - Learn the structure for all major poses, along with alignment and modifications.

  • Functional Anatomy - Learn how the major systems of the body work, and how to work efficiently with them: with resident anatomy master Ryan Cunningham

  • Meaningful Sequencing - Create Reliable, repeatable methods for creating classes your student will return to again and again

  • The History of Modern Postural Yoga - How did we get from meditative practices in ancient India to Hot Power Flow in Boston in 2019.

  • Practical Yoga Philosophy- explore the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Baghavad Gita and discover how these text can improve your life and give new meaning to your teaching.

  • The Business of Being a Yoga Teacher - How to find a job, manage social media, find the right mix of revenue streams and succeed in a competitive marketplace.

Each day will include a master class level practice, posture labs, lectures and experiential learning as you send your summer discovery the richness of the practice, and the power of your voice.

Co-Teachers Tim Kelleher and Renee Leblanc Bring a combined experience of 25 years of teaching and more than 20 teacher trainings to this first ever Boston Yoga Union Teacher Training. Their shared love of the practice, varied backgrounds, and deep expertise provides a rich backdrop for exploring the practices of yoga.

The Nitty Gritty

Training Commences Monday July 8th at 8am and runs 8am-4pm Mon-Fri Until August 2nd.
Graduation will be Sunday August 4th.

a $500 deposit is required to hold your spot. Payment in full by the discount date is required to maintain early bird pricing. Payment plans are available— please contact tim@bostonyogaunion.com to arrange one that works for you!
