A 4 week meditation series designed to give you more awareness around meditation. Each class include guided relaxation, simple movement practices, formal meditation instruction and ample opportunity to troubleshoot.

At its core, the meditation practice is about balancing our ability to focus and the potential for relaxation. This can lead to an experience - albeit momentary - of experiencing ease with whatever is arising in the present moment. While the instructions are generally pretty simple, it can be difficult to establish a regular meditation practice.

This 4 week series offers a pragmatic approach to meditation specifically - but not exclusively - geared towards hatha yoga practitioners. Each class include guided relaxation, simple movement practices, formal meditation instruction and ample opportunity to troubleshoot.

About your  Instructor:

Yoga is a practice through which I cultivate wellness. In order to do that my practice begins with awareness training - simply being able to feel and perceive my own experience in any given moment. Beyond that, the asana, pranayama, techniques simply become avenues through which I can see myself more clearly - a process which I find both helpful and challenging.

My main mentor and teacher is Tom Alden, with whom I study yoga therapy. I have also studied and been deeply influenced by Barbara Benagh, Ethan Nichtern, Leslie Kaminoff and Judith Lasater.
